There is something about wicketkeepers and their ability to whip the bails off in flash from behind the stumps. It has mesmerized cricket lovers over the years, and the tradition just continues from one generation to another. 

In modern day cricket, MS Dhoni became the poster boy of those lightning fast stumpings and so when Lauren Winfield-Hill pulled off a quick stumping in the 26th match of The Hundred 2024, it was hard to not remember the former Indian skipper. 

Lauren Winfield-Hill stumped Abigail Freedom on the 49th ball of the match when Maddy Villiers bowled a fullish loopy delivery on off. Freedom went for a wild slog across the line with some steps down the track, she missed the ball and lost her balance as well and Winfield-Hill just in a matter of a second whipped the bails off to leave the batter short of her crease.
