Abhishek Sharma has been in great form in IPL 2024 and he showed glimpses of it yet again with a destructive knock of 37 off 12 balls in the SRH-CSK clash at Hyderabad.

 The southpaw slammed Mukesh Choudhary for 27 in the second over of SRH's innings and in the next over, Deepak Chahar was also blasted for a six and four on consecutive deliveries. However, on the fourth delivery, Chahar outfoxed him as Jadeja grabbed a brilliant catch. 

It was a fullish delivery, outside off and Sharma threw his hands at it. The ball flew off the outside half of his blade and went aerially towards deep point where Ravindra Jadeja ran to his right and took a brilliant catch near the boundary line.

It was a much-needed relief for CSK who seemed to be short of ideas against some magnificent clean hitting from the left-handed opener. However, the joy was short-lived for Gaikwad and his boys, as Travis Head continued his onslaught in the Powerplay and Aiden Markram who came out to bat at 3, also got going straightaway.

Earlier, CSK scored 165 while batting first and at the time of writing, SRH are way ahead in the game with 78 runs coming in the Powerplay.
