MS Dhoni is 42-year old and IPL 2024 is most probably his final ride as a player in the marquee league. So, whenever he is seen anywhere, the reaction from the crowd is quite insane.

In the 2023 season too, every game CSK played, no matter what the venue is, it felt like a home game for Yellove Army with everyone excited to see MS Dhoni. The same trend has continued in the 2024 season, and it is only getting crazier with each passing game. 

In the 18th match of IPL 2024 between SRH and CSK, the same love for MSD was evident at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Before the start of the game, MS Dhoni entered into the ground for some warmups, and the crowd reacted wildly with huge roars for their favourite MS Dhoni.

The original home team, SRH though won an important toss and decided to bowl first on a pitch that looks good for batting and dew might help the batters in the second half. CSK lost Rachin Ravindra in the fourth over, but they still have started well, and it promises to be a cracking encounter between two quality teams.
