David Warner took an excellent catch on Saturday (April 12) during Delhi Capitals’ IPL 2024 clash against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Ekana Cricket Stadium. The Australian opener, in the process, ended the stay of Deepak Hooda, who came as an impact substitute for Quinton de Kock.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Rahul gave LSG a fluid start in the Powerplay. However, they lost wickets in quick succession, which left them slip to 94/7 at one point. Among the dismissals, Hooda was there as well, as he fell for a struggling 13-ball 10 off Ishant Sharma.

It was a short delivery by Ishant, which Hooda tried to swing across the line with power. The middle-order batter could only get a huge top edge, and Warner, who was there at the point, kept his eyes on the ball before diving perfectly to complete a well-judged catch.

However, Ayush Badoni played a blinder of a knock after LSG's collapse, as they closed on 167/7. Badoni remained unbeaten on 55 off 35 balls, whereas Arshad Khan was there from the other end, scoring 20* off 16 balls.
