In the 14th match of the ongoing Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) 2024 between Perth Scorchers Women and Brisbane Heat Women at the Western Australia Cricket Association Ground in Perth. Australian star batter Grace Harris failed to score big as Chloe Ainsworth struck gold early.

The incident occurred in the 3rd over of the Brisbane Heat Women's innings when Chloe Ainsworth came on to bowl and took her revenge as she got smashed for two fours at the start of the second innings.

It was a fuller-than-length delivery around the off-stump. Harris tentatively tried to push it but left a gap between her bat and pads. The ball sneaked through that gap and hit the middle stump, sending her on her way back to the pavilion.

Earlier in the match, Brisbane Heat Women won the toss and opted to bowl first, but in no time, the Scorchers captain, Sophie Devine, and Beth Mooney opened the innings. However, Nadine de Klerk broke their partnership of 40, sending Devine for 25 runs and later Beth Mooney single-handedly struck majestic 77 runs, helping Scorchers finish off with 142/8 in their allocated 20 overs.

At the time of writing, Brisbane Heat Women are at 38 for 3 in 6 overs, with Jess Jonassen and Jemimah Rodrigues at the crease.
