Promising Indian batter Ruturaj Gaikwad had a forgettable outing in the ongoing first T20I match against Zimbabwe as he was dismissed for seven by ace speedster Blessing Muzarabani. 

After India lost Abhishek Sharma for a duck, Gaikwad joined skipper Shubman Gill in the middle. However, he failed to make an impact as the experienced Zimbabwean pacer got rid of him cheaply.

The incident occurred during the fourth over of India's innings when Gaikwad was trying to steady the ship alongside Gill following Abhishek's departure. However Muzarabani got the big fish for the hosts as he dismissed the CSK skipper with a beautiful delivery. 

After conceding three runs off his first two balls, Muzarabani bowled a good length delivery which moved slightly away from Gaikwad after pitching around the fourth stump line. 

Gaikwad had a tentative poke at it, with the ball flying to the first slip where Innocent Kaia took a sharp low catch. 

The Maharashtra batter's dismissal opened the floodgates for India as the visitors lost key wickets of Rinku Singh and Riyan Parag. 

As of writing, India were tottering at 28 for four in 6.2 overs, with debutant Dhruv Jurel batting alongside Gill.
