Josh Hull dismisses Nissanka to put England in driving seat
While Sri Lanka were looking to establish a solid opening partnership, debutant Josh Hull struck to remove in-form opener Pathum Nissanka. Josh Hull, known for his height and ability to generate bounce, was brought into the attack by captain Ollie Pope. Hull bowled a fuller delivery that travelled outside the off-stump line.
Pathum Nissanka was lured into a drive, and the batter fell into the trap. The Sri Lankan opener got the toe end of the bat that travelled to the right of the short cover fielder.
