Chris Woakes removes Jason Holder (X.com)
Chris Woakes has been a consistent performer for England in Test cricket, especially in English conditions and now in the second Test match against West Indies, the pacer has delivered again by bagging four wickets to derail West Indies' charge towards lead in the first innings.
He started off Day 3 with the wicket of experienced Jason Holder which was his 100th career wicket as well. It was a classical good-length delivery, around off and Holder was in two minds whether to play at it or leave it. He pushed at it tentatively in the end, and ended up getting a faint outside edge which was taken comfortably by wicketkeeper Jamie Smith.

After the wicket of Holder, Gus Atkinson removed Kevin Sinclair and then Woakes grabbed two wickets in consecutive deliveries to stamp his authority on the game. On Day 2, he was the one who got the better of centurion Kavem Hodge late in the day and his efforts have ensured in controlling the damage that was expected to be much more when Alick Athanaze and Kavem Hodge delivered a strong partnership on Day 2.
