Explosive Australian batter Travis Head missed out on a half-century in Sunrisers Hyderabad's ongoing IPL 2024 encounter against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. Opening the batting for SRH, Head struck a breezy 30-ball 48 before ace MI spinner Piyush Chawla got rid of him. 

The incident occurred during the eleventh over of SRH's innings when Head and Nitish Reddy were trying to steady the ship following some early jitters. After conceding two singles off his first two balls, Chawla tossed it up for Head, who was looking rock-solid in the middle. 

The left-handed batter attempted for a big shot only to hit the ball straight to Tilak Varma, who took a simple catch at deep square leg. 

After dismissing the Aussie opener, Chawla was pumped up as he celebrated the success with his teammates. 

After Head's departure, SRH lost another wicket, with Hardik Pandya getting rid of Nitish Reddy with a sharp bumper. 

Heinrich Klaasen also disappointed the visitors, being castled by Chawla for two runs. Thus, Hyderabad, who were off to a brisk start, currently find themselves in troubled waters. 

As of writing, the visitors were 100 for five, with Shahbaz Ahmed and Marco Jansen batting in the middle.
