Lucknow Super Giants' (LSG) Fielding Coach, Jonty Rhodes, couldn't help but praise the ball boy who took a fine catch during the LSG vs KKR match at Ekana Stadium. However, despite the impressive catch, KKR emerged victorious, winning the match by 98 runs. Following the match, Rhodes sought out the ball boy, Atharwa K. Gupta.

Rhodes, himself one of the best fielders, approached the boy to commend his exceptional skills after LSG's defeat. He met and interviewed the young boy, stating, "That catch was remarkable. Stay focused on the ball, and you'll excel."

The moment unfolded in the 54th match of IPL 2024; Atharwa pulled off a stunner at third man. In the third over, Vaibhav Arora bowled a short-pitched delivery to LSG's star all-rounder, Marcus Stoinis. 

Stoinis attempted an uppercut that sailed over the ropes, but the ball boy, in a sensational display, managed to snag the ball, impressing both the coach and the on-air commentators.

Talking about the match, Lucknow Super Giants will now face off against SRH in Hyderabad on 8th May.
