Axar Patel grabbed a stupendous one-handed reflex catch that sent Ishan Kishan back in the pavilion in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match.

Put into bat by Rishabh Pant and the Delhi Capitals (DC), the Mumbai Indians (MI) were off to a flying start, courtesy, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan. The duo took full advantage of the power-play and spared no DC bowlers as 50 runs came up in no time.

However, the downfall of Rohit at the hands of Axar brought a couple of more wickets as the returning Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan went back to the pavilion.

With the DC bowlers taken to the cleaners, the lone shining light for them was Axar, who grabbed one of the catches of the tournament to dismiss the MI keeper.

Axar grabs a stunner!

The Delhi spinner bowled a quicker and flatter delivery on the stumps and Kishan failed to get a connection on his attempted pull shot. However, the ball travalled quickly towards the left of Axar, who brought his hand out and plucked out a brilliant reflex catch to end Kishan's innings.

Talking about the match scenario, MI started off on a positive note, but three quick wickets has brought DC back in the contest. At the moment, Hardik is at the crease, alongside Tilak Varma.
