Babar Azam's team, Stallions played with Mohammad Rizwan's ego as the batter fell into the leg-side trap set by the Stallions. A lot was expected of Rizwan, especially after the early wickets, but the keeper-batter, and the captain of Markhors disappointed once again.

The wicket was flat and Rizwan had steadied the ship after the early loss of Muhammad Faizan and Fakhar Zaman. Rizwan played a couple of delightful shots and looked set for a big total, but he fell into a trap and was sent back for a 39-ball 33.

Rizwan disappoints once again with brain fade batting

He had an average outing in the last game, but was expected to deliver the goods. However, Stallions spinner, Mehran Mumtaz, perfectly executed the plan given to him by Babar and Stallions skipper, Mohammad Haris.

The spinner deliberately pitched the ball outside the off and forced Rizwan to play the slog sweep. The Pakistan batter is predominantly a leg-sidish player and despite a jam-packed fielding on the leg side, he went through with his slog sweep and the catch was taken at deep square leg.

Rizwan looked disappointed, but the Stallions celebrated as they had trapped the big fish with a brilliantly executed plan.

Rizwan's Markhor aim to maintain winning start

The Markhors started the tournament by defeating Panthers in the opening contest. They came into this game with a lot of confidence, but lost a couple of early wickets, which also included the big fish, Fakhar Zaman.

Rizwan came in when they had lost two wickets and he resurrected the innings with his calm and composed batting, however, one lapse of concentration led to his wicket. The team is currently in a precarious situation and have lost 4 wickets. The Rizwan led side will look to continue the winning momentum by defeating the Stallions.
