Riding on Shaheen Afridi's spectacular catch, Imad Wasim provided Pakistan with a magnificent start, dismissing Phil Salt in the ongoing second T20I at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Salt, who struck two boundaries earlier in the game, couldn't convert his start into a big score, with Imad getting his prized scalp. 

The incident occurred during the fourth over of England's innings after Jos Buttler and Salt gave them a brisk start. Bringing Imad into the attack worked wonders for the visitors, with the experienced spinner dismissing the dangerous Salt with his wily left-arm off spin. 

Starting his over, Imad bowled a short-of-good-length delivery, which Salt pulled in front of square with much power and authority. 

However, the explosive keeper-batter couldn't fetch the gap as Shaheen Afridi took a magnificent sliding catch near the ropes, putting an end to his brief stay. 

As soon as Shaheen grabbed the catch, Pakistan captain Babar Azam was elated as he hugged the seamer amid rift rumours between the two. 

Meanwhile, despite losing Salt, England have maintained an impressive scoring rate, with Will Jacks and Jos Buttler clearing their aggressive intensions. As of writing, the hosts were 46 for one in 5.1 overs, with Buttler and Jacks batting on 17* and 16*, respectively.
