Axar Patel out (X.com)
Axar Patel has improved by leaps and bounds as batter in recent times and was promoted at number 5 in a tricky run-chase of 231 against a spirited England unit. India were 63-3 when Axar came out to bat and they needed the left-hander to build a solid partnership with Rahul. Axar did bat well, but ended up falling on 17 as he handed an easy catch to Tom Hartley in the 30th over.
Tom Hartley took all four wickets that India have initially, and has bowled beautifully after contributing with the bat as well. Talking about the wicket of Axar Patel, it was a tossed up delivery on the off stump line. Patel tried to drive it but did that uppishly as the ball went off the inside half of his blade.

The ball ended up going straight to Tom Hartley, the bowler, and he took an easy catch to bag his fourth wicket of the innings. KL Rahul too departed soon after Axar and with India five down, at the time of writing, all the onus is on the pair of Shreyas Iyer and Jadeja to take them over the line.
