West Indies cricket have a rich history and they were the dominant force in 1970s and 1980s. However, their decline in the last decade or so has been quite dramatic and it seemed that West Indies cricket would never be able to bounce back. However, West Indies have now registered their first win on Australian soil after 27 years, something that seemed unimaginable with West Indies fielding a team full of inexperienced youngsters.

This historical win brought tears in the eyes of none other than legendary Brian Lara who was doing commentary in the game.
