[Watch] Rohit Sharma & Ravindra Jadeja Get 'Angry' As Ashwin Makes Fielding Blunders

Ravichandran Ashwin is a world-class bowler but his fielding has been below-par in recent times. It was again on show in the opening Test against England at Hyderabad, where he gave away two boundaries off the misfield that left Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja fuming.

The first misfield took place in the 44th over when Ollie Pope flicked a Jadeja delivery towards the mid-wicket region. Ravi Ashwin at mid on tried to chase it down, but was too slow, and when he slided to stop the ball, he could not get his body or hand behind, and the ball ended up crossing the ropes.

The second misfield took place on the fifth delivery of the 50th over Pope again worked it towards the deep mid-wicket region. Ashwin was the fielder running towards the ball from mid on again and this time, Rajat Patidar too, was in a bid to stop the ball as he came running from deep mid-wicket to his left. However, when both of them came close to the ball, they decided to take a backseat, giving a free way to the ball that rolled away towards the fence.

Jadeja surely was not happy with the effort and nor was the captain, and these are little things that India need to be vary of, as it can hurt them in crunch situations.
