Jofra Archer is back in the England side for T20 World Cup 2024, after a long injury layoff. He has done brilliantly so far on his comeback, but in the game against South Africa, he was carted for 21 runs in his first over, mainly by Quinton de Kock.

The southpaw scored 65, but Archer came back for his second over, and got the big wicket of De Kock to bring England back in the game courtesy a stunning catch by Jos Buttler.

It was the fifth ball of the 12th over and Jofra Archer bowled it short and outside off. However, it was a slower delivery and Quinton de Kock who tried to cut it, got an outside edge. The ball flew to the left of English captain Jos Buttler and the man just dived full length and grabbed a one-handed stunner.

The wicket of Quinton de Kock changed the momentum of the game, and soon Buttler produced another moment of magic when he ran out Heinrich Klaasen with a brilliant direct throw.

Earlier, Buttler won the toss and decided to bowl first and after a bright start from the Proteas, the defending champions are slowly crawling their way back into the game.
