In the ongoing The Hundred clash between London Spirit and Welsh Fire, Russell produced a moment of magic on the field and grabbed a brilliant catch to send Tom Kohler-Cadmore back top the pavilion.

Welsh Fire had an unusual start to their batting, playing ten dot balls in a row, which itself is a record in this format. The pressure kept on increasing as Kohler-Cadmore just couldn't find the gaps or clear the fence. However, in a moment of desperation, he played an aerial shot and the catch was brilliantly taken by Dre Russ.

London Spirit bowler delivered a hard length ball and Kohler-Cadmore went ahead with a pressure releasing slog which went miles in the air. Russell, stationed at mid-on kept his eyes on the ball as he tracked back and grabbed a stunning catch to end his scratchy looking stay at the crease.

The West Indian all-rounder showed great agility and had brilliant reflexes to grab the catch.

Luke Wells, the number 3 batter then took on the attack to the opposition and went ballistic with his quick-fire 8-ball 23 before getting dismissed.
