Legendary Australian cricketer Matthew Hayden has excluded talismanic Indian batters- Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli- from his all-time World Cup XI. Rohit and Kohli have been absolute legends for India, helping them script many memorable wins, especially in ODIs.

They were phenomenal in the World Cup last year, where India lost to Australia in a high-voltage final at Ahmedabad.

Meanwhile, former Aussie opener Matthew Hayden has excluded both Kohli and Rohit from his all-time World Cup XI.

According to Cricket Pakistan, Hayden has picked the swashbuckling duo of Adam Gilchrist and Virender Sehwag as his openers, followed by Australia's two-time World Cup winning skipper Ricky Ponting at three.

He has kept Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara at four and five, while Jacques Kallis finds himself as the seam-bowling allrounder.

The iconic duo of Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis made it into Hayden's XI alongside Glenn McGrath as the lead seamers. The explosive southpaw has included Shane Warne and Muttiah Muralitharan as the frontline spinners.
