West Indies and Alzarri Joseph had a dream start to the 2nd Test at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. With the ball doing enough movement and a bit of extra bounce on offer, Joseph bowled an unplayable ball which dismissed opener Zak Crawley.

Opting to field first, West Indies had a perfect start to the innings. Crawley, who can be dangerous at the top was sent back without troubling the scorers 0 (3).

Trent Bridge surface has something for the pacers and Joseph exploited it to perfection. He bowled just short of a length delivery and it nipped away to take the outside-edge of Zak Crawley's bat, who got squared up by the delivery.

Alick Athanaze, who was situated at third slip dived to his right and took a brilliant low-catch inches above the ground. The celebrations lasted for a brief moment as in the next over, Ben Duckett punished Jayden Seales with three consecutive boundaries to snatch the momentum from the Windies side.

England lead the series 1-0 after thrashing the West Indies by an innings and 114 runs. Gus Atkinson was the star with the ball, picking up 7 for 45 to rattle the opposition. It was also Jimmy Anderson's last match as an England cricketer.
