Alana King has been bowling beautifully in The Hundred 2024, and her economy rate has been exceptional as well. In the 24th match against Southern Brave too, she gave away just 22 runs in her 15 balls and managed to score a direct hit as well to get rid of Naomi Dattani.

It was the 76th ball of the Southern Brave innings' and Alana King tossed it up on leg. Naomi Dattani skipped down the track and tried to work it away. However, she got an inside edge onto his leg and the ball rolled towards the off side. The batters tried to steal a single and Alana King quickly ran towards the ball, grabbed it and threw a direct underarm hit at the bowler's end.

Naomi Dattani was short of her crease, and Rockets lost their sixth wicket. It was the third wicket in quick succession for Southern Brave Women, and the first one of those was Smriti Mandhana's whose wicket turned the game in visitors' favour.

Trent Rockets Women eventually won the game by 24 runs and it is their third win in six matches while Southern Brave have won just one out of the seven matches.
