Arshad Nadeem is the talk of the town since he created history in the Paris Olympics with the 92.97m thow and bagged a Gold medal in Javelin. He defeated India's Neeraj Chopra who had to settle for the Silver medal after winning Gold in the previous edition. 

Arshad has been showered with love from all corners after his win and now Ahmad Shahzad, the Pakistan cricketer has also announced a prize money of PKR 1 million for the Olympic medalist.

Ahmad Shahzad announced the prize money on his official X handle and the money has been donated by Ahmad Shahzad Foundation in collaboration with reportagegroup. The Pakistan cricketer also congratulated Arshad and applauded his grit and determination despite limited facilities in the country.

Shahzad also added that everyone should learn from Arshad and stated that he was always confident of Javelinist winning the Gold medal this time around.

Arshad Nadeem's medal is the first Gold medal for Pakistan since 1984, and it is the only medal they have won in the Paris Olympics so far. So, all sports enthusiast in Pakistan would be hoping that this Gold medal win inspires new generation and Pakistan produce more world-class athletes in the upcoming future.
