Akeal Hosein is turning  out to be one of the best T20 bowlers of the current era. The West Indian spinner has done well for the Windies in the recent past, and continued the good work in the ongoing MLC 2024 as well.

In the clash between San Francisco Unicorns and Washington Freedom, Akeal Hosein showed his magic and bowled a ripper which went through the gates and shattered Finn Allen's stumps.

Coming from around the wicket, Akeal bowled an arm ball, which came quickly towards the batter. Finn Allen made some room to slash the delivery, but he missed it completely and the ball rattled the stumps to end his innings.

Interestingly, that was the first delivery Allen had faced, and he got bamboozled by the guile of Akeal.

Talking about the match, Washington Freedom were put into bat and they posted a commanding 174/3 inside 15.3 overs before rain intervened. The DLS method came into play and San Francisco Unicorns, showed their mettle and chased it down inside 13.4 overs.

Runs from Sanjay Krishnamurthi, Josh Inglis and Hassan Khan took Francisco past the winning line with relative ease.

Despite taking the wicket off the first delivery, Akeal went for runs, conceding 39 runs inside 3 overs.
