Aiden Markram reminded fans of Sachin Tendulkar on Friday (October 27) during South Africa’s World Cup match against Pakistan in Chennai.
The stylish middle-order batsman hit Pakistan's express pacer Haris Rauf for six runs with a gorgeous uppercut, something Tendulkar often did during his days.
It was a back-of-a-length delivery by Rauf, which Markram anticipated perfectly. The South African jumped in the air and played a superb upper cut to send the ball over the third-man region.
The shot was so pleasing to the eyes, while Haris Rauf left stunned after getting belted by the middle-order batsman.
