[Watch] Gerald Coetzee’s ‘Cold Stare’ At Shadab Khan After Outfoxing Him With A Beauty

One of the very few bowlers at the moment who shows aggression on the field, Gerald Coetzee was in vicious form on Friday (October 27) during South Africa’s World Cup 2023 clash against Pakistan in Chennai. The right-arm quick claimed 2/42 of his first seven overs after the Men in Green won the toss and opted to bat first.

More significantly, two of Pakistan’s most reliable batters Mohammad Rizwan and Shadab Khan were Coetzee’s victims.

While Coetzee celebrated aggressively after Rizwan’s wicket, the thing he did after Shadab’s caught a lot more attention. Shadab and Saud Shakeel were taking Pakistan to a massive total with a brilliant partnership until Coetzee returned to the attack and broke the stand.

Coetzee bowled a quick shortish delivery outside the off stump, which Shadab went for a pull. However, the pace did the trick, as Shadab found a massive top edge, which Keshav Maharaj made look like a simple catch at short mid-wicket.

After picking up Shadab's wicket, Coetzee gave him a ice-cold stare for the send off, which pleased fans more than anything else at that point.
