A lot of responsibility was on Babar Azam’s shoulders on Friday during Pakistan’s must-win World Cup match against South Africa in Chennai. The Men in Green skipper, the No. 1-ranked ODI batsman in the world, got to his third fifty of the competition as well, and seemed to be in a good touch.

However, he didn't succeed in making it big, and following that, he could not control his emotions.

Even Tabraiz Shamsi did not know he got the dangerous wicket even after dismissing him. Thankfully, Quinton de Kock, behind the stumps, was so sure about it, and thus, he managed to convince skipper Temba Bavuma to take DRS after an on-field not-out call.

It was a tossed-up delivery by Shamsi, which was going down the leg side. Babar tried to go for a lap sweep but ended up getting a thin edge behind. De Kock was quick to react to it and grabbed an excellent catch with the big gloves.

Shamsi thought he missed out by a whisker on getting the big fish. But de Kock knew there was a nick and was quick to go to Bavuma to challenge the decision.

And de Kock was right, and hence, Babar had to leave the field after a hard-fought 65-ball 50.
