Adam Zampa, one of the finest spinners of the modern game was at his best in the ongoing The Hundred contest between The Oval Invincibles and the London Spirit.

Invincibles opted to bowl first and the decision paid off immediately as the Spirit lost their first wicket in the early proceedings. However, that didn't bother Michael-Kyle Pepper, who stayed true to his aggressive game and took the attack to the opposition.

The wicket-keeper batter played some delightful strokes, and was batting beautifully on 28, when a Adam Zampa yorker stun Pepper. In the delivery before the wicket, Pepper had stuck a boundary off Zampa, and the Aussie took his revenge soon.

As Pepper made room for a boundary, Zampa bowled an inch-perfect yorker. The Spirit batter failed to get a bat to it as the ball shattered the stumps. Zampa looked in the eyes of the batter and gave a send-off.

His dismissal brought the downfall of Spirit, as they lost wickets in tandems. Ollie Pope, Shimron Hetmyer, and Andre Russell followed them soon as the team from London are struggling to get to a decent total.

At the moment, they are 87/7, with 18 balls stil left in the innings.
