Rishabh Pant has made a successful comeback in the Indian side after a deadly accident and has been consistent at number 3 in T20 World Cup 2024. In the game against Bangladesh too, he was looking in his elements and smashed 36 off 24 balls which included four fours and two sixes.
One of those sixes and a four came off a consecutive deliveries in the 12th over against Rishad Hossain. However, on the fourth delivery of the same over, Rishabh Pant tried to play fancy reverse-sweep off a full delivery on off. He did hit it decently but the ball went straight into the hands of Tanzim Hasan Sakib at short third man, and Bangladesh were gifted with their fourth wicket.

Despite his wicket, Pant's innings propelled India's score in the middle overs and it clearly shows the way India want to go about their business.
Before Rishabh Pant, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli also played handy little knocks, but both of them could not carry on, while Suryakumar Yadav also fell on his second delivery after hitting a six on the very first ball against Tanzim Hasan Sakib.
