In a crucial match between India and Bangladesh at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, the Men in Blue, batting first, got off to a positive start and stitched a 39-run stand for the 1st wicket.

Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant stitched another good partnership before India lost two wickets quickly which put Bangladesh back in the game. Despite the wickets falling from one end, Pant continued with his aggressive approach.

The southpaw went all guns blazing against Mustafizur Rahman and did the same to Rishad Hossain. On the second ball of the 12th over, Pant smashed Hossain for a 'One-handed six'.

Pant is known for his unorthodox shots and often his bottom hands slip from the bat. Even on a few occasions, Rishabh's bat also slipped from his hands which was seen during IPL.

However, Pant got out similarly to Rohit, as he too collected 10 runs off Rishad's over and then tried to play an unorthodox shot but hit the shot straight to Tanzim Hossain. He was furious with his shot selection. Even, Virat was seen talking to him in the dug-out

At the time of writing this article, India are 143/4 in 15.3 overs. Notably, Pant is India's leading run-getter in this tournament.
