Aiden Markram, the skipper of South Africa is known for his quality with the bat, but the man is a handy bowler and a fielder too. Now, in a crunch situation against England in a big World Cup game, the man has produced a moment of brilliance on the field as he grabbed a brilliant backward running catch under pressure.
It was the final over of the match and England needed 14 to seal the win. Harry Brook was batting brilliantly and he had Sam Curran alongside him, making them favourites to clinch the game. Nortje bowled it full and around leg and Brook made room to hit it over the infield on the offside.
However, he could not get the desired connection and the ball went in the air behind the mid off fielder. Markram there ran towards the direction of the ball, kept his eyes on the ball and completed a stunning catch to completely change the momentum of the game.
