Nitish Reddy has taken the IPL 2024 by storm with his fantastic strokeplay and the man oozes confidence in whatever he does on the field. In the 57th match of IPL 2024 between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants, he once again showed his class, this time as a fielder and grabbed a stunning catch near the boundary to get rid of Quinton de Kock.

It brought back memories of a controversial catch of Shai Hope to dismiss Sanju Samson, but the difference was that Nitish did not keep any room of doubt in his cool and calculated catch.

It was a shortish delivery on the middle stump line and Quinton de Kock pulled it nicely. He timed it well, but Nitish Rana at deep square leg timed his jump to perfection, and when the momentum was taking him over the ropes, he threw the ball in air and then came back into the playing field to complete a superb grab.
