Kieron Pollard is one of the most fearsome hitters of the cricket ball and Rashid Khan is one of the finest bowlers in the limited over format. So, whenever these two come against each other, it is a treat for all cricket lovers. 

Pollard though has now come up with an effort that would haunt Rashid Khan for years, as he has smashed the leg-spinner for five consecutive sixes, leaving Trent Rockets camp completely shocked in the Hundred 2024 encounter against Southern Brave.

Before the Rashid Khan and Pollard encounter, Southern Brave needed 49 off 20 balls, and it was all upto Pollard to produce something special. He did that perfectly hitting Rashid Khan all around the corner of the Rose Bowl to put the home team right back in the game.

The first ball was a touch shortish one, a googly too and Pollard rocked back to pull it all the way over deep mid-wicket for a maximum. The next ball was a fuller one, in the slot for Pollard and he powered it over long off with ease. Rashid tried a flighted delivery again, around off, but Pollard was in no mood to back down and blasted it over long off again for a sixer.

Rashid Khan altered his length on the fourth delivery, bowled it short, but the big Caribbean batter picked the length quickly and hammered it over deep mid-wicket. The leggie was almost clueless till then and he bowled the final delivery of the set right in the slot, fuller and on off. Pollard blasted it over long off again and turned the game completely with his vintage power-show.


Kieron Pollard was eventually run out on 45, but his effort was enough to take his side over the line as they managed to clinch the game by two wickets.
