Young Indian batter Nitish Kumar Reddy had another memorable outing in the Indian Premier League 2024 as he bailed SRH out of trouble in their ongoing group-stage clash against Rajasthan Royals.

Coming at number four, Reddy took some time to get his eyes in before unleashing his beast mode against RR's premier spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

The incident occurred during the thirteenth over when Reddy was stabilising SRH's innings following the cheap dismissals of Abhishek Sharma and Anmolpreet Singh.

RR skipper Sanju Samson's decision to bring Chahal into the attack backfired on the visitors, with the stylish right-hander hammering him all around the park.

The over began on a disastrous note for Chahal as Reddy smashed his flighted delivery for a massive six straight down the ground. He followed it up with a glorious boundary over extra cover before extending his assault on the veteran spinner with another six on the penultimate delivery.

The promising batter finished the over on a high note, collecting four more runs off the final ball as Chahal continued having a poor day with the ball.

The duo's remarkable batting performance has resulted in SRH's commendable fightback in the game. As of writing, the Sunrisers were 131 for two in 14.2 overs, with Head and Reddy batting on 58* and 49*, respectively.
