Travis Head played a delightful knock on Thursday (May 2) in Match 50 of IPL 2024 between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

After losing Abhishek Sharma early, Head had to hold the fort before breaking the shackles against a quality RR attack. And the Australian opener decided to attack the leader of the pack, Yuzvendra Chahal, to cut loose.

Head made 58 off 44 balls before Avesh Khan cleaned him up. During his stay, the way he smashed Chahal out of the park twice in two balls was nothing but sheer delight.

First Head went for a pull for a 93-metre six over deep wicket, and then followed it up by smashing an audacious six over long-on for a 94-metre biggie.

At the time of writing this, SRH are 152/3 after 16.1 overs, with Nitish Reddy and Heinrich Klaasen in the middle, on 62* and 7* respectively. Yuzvendra Chahal is having a forgetful day, returning figures of 3.2-0-58-0 against a hard-hitting batting unit, led by Klaasen.
