Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium may been getting spoiled with Quinton de Kock and Heinrich Klaasen's fiery batting, but all other South African batters played their parts brilliantly. In the last ten innings, the Proteas smacked 144 runs, courtesy of the fire-cracking 65-run partnership between Klaasen and David Miller that came off just 25 deliveries.

First de Kock and then Klaasen served the Bangladesh bowlers all across the park, but it was Miller's killer hitting who provided the Proteas the finishing touches in their mammoth innings of 382 runs.

In his 15-ball 39 knock, Miller smoked one boundary and four maximums, one of which completed the 50-run off just 20 balls partnership between him and Klaasen. That maximum came off Shoriful Islam, who missed a yorker by an inch and was deposited into the stand over long-on.

After the gigantic hit off Islam, the dashing southpaw smoked the same bowler in the same region. Meanwhile, Klaasen - who slammed England for a century at the same venue - missed his bagging consecutive tons by ten runs as he misread a slower one by Hasan Mahmud in the penultimate over.

Nevertheless, the South Africans notched the third-highest score of this World Cup, with the first two being hit by the Proteas only.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh will have to bat out of skins if they want to chase the might total of 383 runs. Interestingly, the highest total chased down by the Tigers is 322 against West Indies in 2019.
