Australia will be against the Netherlands in the 24th game of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. They are in the 4th position with two wins in two games. The Aussies had a poor start to the tournament as they lost their first two games against India and South Africa respectively. Then they came back strongly and have won two games on the trot. They will be eyeing another win in this game to strengthen their position.

They will take on the Netherlands on 25th October 2023 at 2:00 PM IST. The venue for this game is the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Here's the Probable Playing for the Aussies for this match against the Dutch: 


1. David Warner 

David Warner scored a brilliant 163 runs in the last game against Pakistan. He is amongst the best openers in world cricket and will fancy his chances in this game as well as he plays for the Delhi Capitals in the IPL and knows the conditions outright. 

2. Mitchell Marsh

Mitchell Marsh also scored a century in the last game against Pakistan. He has been a little inconsistent in this tournament but Marsh likes to bat aggressively and the conditions in Delhi will suit his style of batting. Marsh will be a key player at the top for the Aussies. 

3. Steven Smith

This might be the game where Steve Smith finally gets back in form. He has been horribly our of form in this world cup and will be itching to do well. He will bat at 3. Smith is amongst the best in world cricket and Australia will hope that he regains his form quickly. 

4. Travis Head

Travis Head is expected to replace the out of form Marnus Labuschagne in this game. He will bat at 4 and has been in top form in recent times. Head provides some overs of his handy off-spin and is excellent against the spinners with the bat. 

5. Josh Inglis (WK)

Jos Inglis likes to bat aggressively and is excellent against the spinners as well. He can take down any bowling unit when on song. Inglis will keep the wickets and will be an important batter in the middle order. 

6. Glenn Maxwell

Glenn Maxwell will be one of the most important players for his team. He is bowling 5-6 overs and has been in decent touch with the bat. Maxwell likes to bat positively and take the attack to the opposition. 

7. Marcus Stoinis

Marcus Stoinis will do the late hitting duties for the Aussies and will chip in with few overs as well. He bowled really well against Pakistan in the last game. Stoinis is a utility player and will be important if the Aussies are to win this game. 

8. Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc has been in good form and will be eager to do well in this game against the Netherlands. Starc can swing the new ball, bowls at a good pace and is equally good in the death overs. He will have to do well on the good batting track at Delhi.

11. Josh Hazlewood

Josh Hazlewood likes to hit the deck and get the new ball to move a bit in the power play. He can pick up a few wickets in the first few overs upfornt with the new ball. Hazlewood has bowled well and is a key part of the Aussie pace attack.
