Jitesh Sharma was one of the frontrunner at the start of the IPL to bag a wicketkeeper's spot in T20 World Cup, but the man just could not find form throughout the tournament and eventually missed out of the marquee event. 

However, in PBKS' final match of the season against SRH he was made the captain of the side and the right-hander smacked 32 off 15 balls which included a four and two sixes in the last over of the innings.

The six on the fifth delivery came off a full toss on the middle and leg stump and Jitesh Sharma powered it over deep mid-wicket for a 72-metre hit. The following delivery was a short one and a slower delivery on off. Jitesh made room and slapped it over deep extra cover for a maximum, making it a typical MS Dhoni style last-over finish.

The two sixes helped Punjab Kings to finish on a high as they blasted 214 after electing to bat first after winning the toss. They are already out of the tournament, but the win for them will mean that SRH will not be able to finish in top-2, so it would be interesting to see how things shape up in the run-chase.
