Young Indian batter Riyan Parag had a memorable outing in Rajasthan Royals' second group-stage clash against Delhi Capitals, slamming a flamboyant fifty. Coming at number four, the Assam batter struck seven fours and six humongous sixes for a breathtaking 45-ball 84, which rescued the Royals from a precarious position. 

While he played several delightful shots during his stay, Parag's final-over onslaught against Anrich Nortje grabbed the attention of the fans worldwide. 

After completing his fifty with a glorious straight six off Mukesh Kumar, Parag went berserk when Nortje came into the attack to bowl the last over. 

The first ball flied between the keeper and short third man for a four before Parag cracked a solid pull to collect a boundary off the very next ball. 

He followed it up with a magnificent pull shot, depositing a short ball into the mid-wicket stand. The fourth ball went for a four before the right-handed batter smashed another six, collecting 24 runs off Nortje's first five deliveries. 

The batter took a single on the last ball, as RR finished their innings with a respectable 185-run total on the board. Parag, who was impressive in RR's opening clash against LSG, thus extended his purple patch in the competition.
