Dhruv Jurel has made a swift rise through the Indian cricketing ranks with a splendid debut Test series against England before the IPL. He is a big player for Rajasthan Royals in that lower middle order after showing glimpses of his talent in the last season and started the season well with a handy cameo of 20 against LSG. In the second game too he scored 20 again, but this time his team needed more from him.

His wicket fell in the 18th over and it was a revenge for Anrich Nortje who was hit for a boundary on the first delivery of the over. On the second delivery, Dhruv Jurel tried the same shot but ended up losing his wicket in a bizarre fashion.

He actually got the middle of his blade but he way too across to the off side and ended up dragging it onto the stumps. Nortje was absolutely ecstatic with the wicket but his happiness was short-lived as he was plundered for 25 runs in the last over by Riyan Parag to take RR to a commendable total.

Riyan scored 84 off 45 balls and showed great character as RR managed to score 185 in their 20 overs.
