The 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi impressed one and all with a spectacular century against GT in just his third match of IPL career. However, there were doubts over his sustainability. Many people claimed he is just a blind-slogger, a perception he has now put to rest with a matured fifty against MS Dhoni's CSK in Delhi.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Shows His Deep Respect For MS Dhoni

RR won the game, and after the match, the young batter was seen touching MS Dhoni's feet at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The moment grabbed everyone's attention and it shows how much MS Dhoni is respected in the world of cricket. The 14-year-old touched Dhoni's feet when the players from both the teams were shaking hands after the match, and Dhoni in return gave him a charming smile.

There is an age difference of 29 years between Vaibhav and MS Dhoni, but the youngster has shown what he can do against the best of the bowlers in this IPL, and is likely to serve Indian cricket for a long time.

In this game between CSK and RR, Vaibhav Suryavanshi started off his knock calmly, letting Yashasvi Jaiswal attack opposition bowlers upfront. After his wicket, Vaibhav Suryavanshi picked his balls perfectly and played some glorious shots all over the ground.

He fell on the score of 57 against Ravi Ashwin, but his partnership with Sanju Samson put RR in commanding position and they ended up finally chasing a target this season. RR won the game in the 18th over with six wickets in hand, and have avoided the last position on the points table.
