[Watch] 1 Run, 1 Ball, 1 Wicket; Gloveless Keeper's Stunner Steals Show In Greatest Ever Cricket Match

Gloucestershire and Glamorgan play a dramatic draw [CountyChampionship/X]Gloucestershire and Glamorgan play a dramatic draw [CountyChampionship/X]

Glamorgan fell short of a world-record 593 run chase on the final ball of the match as they tied the 2nd Division County Championship match against Gloucestershire in Cheltenham.

How the historic game transpired?

During the day 4 of the mid-table clash between Gloucestershire and Glamorgan, following heroic double hundred by wicketkeeper James Brace, 184 by Cameron Bancroft and Miles Hammond's 121, Glamorgan were asked to chase down a humungous 593.

After a 119 from Marnus Labuschagne and a 187 from captain Sam Northeast, it was onto the final wicket partnership between Mason Crane and Jamie Mcllory to take the Welsh county side to the win in the final stages of the game.

With only one run required on the final ball of the day 4 and Mcllory on strike, Ajeet Singh Dale bowled a delivery straight up at the stumps. Mcllory failed in his desperate attempt to swing one down the ground to cross the finish line as double centurion wicketkeeper took a one-handed blinder with right hand which didn't have a glove on it.

James Bracey went berserk as he ran around the ground, celebrating the tie while helping Gloucestershire stop Glamorgan from creating history by chasing a world record total.
