Virat Kohli Equals Ricky Ponting In A 'Massive Milestone'

India batter Virat Kohli played a blinder against Pakistan and notched up his 47th hundred in ODIs.

In the ongoing fixture against one of his favourite opponents, Pakistan, Kohli again paraded towards a milestone.

As it happened, the 34-year-old brought up a majestic century and not only that, but he also brought up his 112th fifty+ score in ODI format.

Kohli now stands equal to Australia's Ricky Ponting in the list. The latter, who played his last ODI in 2012, also hit 112 fifty-plus scores throughout his career in the format.

Moreover, Kohli also got past 13,000 runs in ODIs. He is the fastest to do so.

Kohli, Rahul extends India's dominance 

While India already looked better-place when the reserve started, Kohli and KL Rahul furthered their hold over the match. Both the batters smashed hundreds and are still going strong.

At the time of writing, India are at 330/2, with KL Rahul and Kohli taking the attack to the opposition. India are eyeing a score of 350 plus.
