While India's dominance remained unshakable in the recently concluded first Test match against West Indies at Windsor Park, Dominica, Virat Kohli set a new record, solidifying his position as the second-most 50+ scorer in overseas games (outside Asia) in Indian cricket history. 

On the third day, the Former skipper was in good touch and continued his remarkable performance from day 2, sharing the spotlight with Yashasvi Jaiswal. On his way through to a gritty 76, Kohli surpassed Rahul Dravid, recording the second-most fifty-plus scores for India outside the subcontinent.

Sachin Tendulkar - 96

Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for the most 50+ scores in overseas matches for India, notching up 96 scores of 50 or more with his outstanding performance. 


Virat Kohli - 88*

In a remarkable display during the first Test match against West Indies, the 34-year-old Virat Kohli surpassed former cricketer Rahul Dravid to feature second on this list. Kohli's recent knock of 76 runs came as his 88th 50-plus score outside the subcontinent. 


Rahul Dravid - 87

Former Indian captain Rahul Dravid ranks number three with 87 50-plus scores outside Asia.  Nicknamed ‘The Wall’, Dravid is currently the head coach of the Indian cricket team.

Meanwhile, India went one-nil up in the series, handing West Indies a gut-wrenching defeat by an innings and 141 runs. After securing a sizeable 271-run lead, the visitors dismantled the hosts for a paltry 130 in their second innings and secured a comprehensive win in this process.
