December 29 saw a lot of teams in the Vijay Hazare Trophy strengthening their chances for position on the points table with third consecutive wins, like the traditional powerhouses, Mumbai, Karnataka and Delhi keep their number 1 spot in their respective groups, while the Rinku Singh-led Uttar Pradesh also continued their dominance.
Among the key performers on the day were the centurion Dhruv Jurel, who got to his maiden List A ton, alongside his captain Rinku Singh's third consecutive fifty and Shardul Thakur's match-winning four-fer. Here's a brief look at some of the key performances from the day.
