Born on 27 March 2011, Vaibhav Suryavanshi is just 14 years old. Despite his age, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) star batter likes to stare challenges in the face.

After a sensational 144-run knock in India A's inaugural game in the ongoing ACC T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2025 against the UAE, the teenager brought out his strong personality against arch-rivals Pakistan A.

"Ball dal na": Suryavanshi's bold response to Pakistan bowler trying to sledge him

The lefty batter made his intentions clear from the start of the innings, hitting the first ball of the game for a cracking boundary. However, the intensity of the high-profile game was further deepened when the young opener gave the Pakistani pacer, Ubaid Shah, a suiting reply on his face.

Adding to the thrill of the match, there was constant chirping from both the sides. Whenever the young batter failed to connect the ball, Pakistan bowlers tried their best to charge up Suryavanshi with a stare in the eye. Despite desperate attempts, the left-handed batter, who was fresh from a brilliant century in Doha, seemed unfazed by the mocking of young pacer Ubaid Shah.

In the third over of the game, Vaibhav Suryavanshi gave it right back to the Pakistan player by asking him to focus on bowling instead.

In a video shared online, Suryavanshi was heard as saying, "Ball dal na, ball dall. (Bowl the ball, bowl the ball)."

Starting his IPL career with RR, Suryavanshi showed composure, hitting the next ball for a boundary over the covers.

Suryavanshi's 45-run knock: A brilliant effort in a lost cause

Coming fresh from an immaculate 144 off 42 balls against the UAE, the teen sensation scored another 45 runs in just 28 balls at a strike rate of 160.71. The 14-year-old from Samastipur, Bihar, stitched a valuable 49-run partnership after India A lost Priyansh Arya early in the innings.

However, Suryavanshi's efforts went in vain as after his wicket, the wickets fell at quick intervals. His 45 runs were not enough to help the Indian team post a competitive total, and the team was bowled out for 136, which Pakistan Shaheens chased the total down without any trouble.
