India A sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made headlines for his prodigious talent at 14. Wherever the Boss Baby from Bihar goes, he makes a name for himself being the youngest in the setup.

Opening the innings for India A against the UAE at the ACC’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2025, Suryavanshi smashed a magnificent 32-ball century to level senior Indian stars at just 14.

Plundering 10 fours and nine sixes on the way, the teenager raced to level Indian star batter Rishabh Pant as the joint third fastest century by an Indian batter in T20s.

"No Comments": Vaibhav Suryavanshi's hilarious reply to age trolls goes viral

Before this historical feat, he was at the centre of light-hearted banter from his teammates ahead of India A’s inaugural game in the ACC’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Doha.

In a viral video shared on Gurjapneet Singh’s Snapchat account, the young gun gave a two-word response to friendly “age trolls” from his own teammates. The clip has instantly gone viral across social media.

The youngster’s witty comeback came when Yudhvir Singh, pointing the camera at himself and then at Vaibhav, jokingly asked the 14-year-old: “Who between him and the teenager looks older?”

Continuing the banter, the prodigy delivered the perfect, blunt, and equally funny reply: “No comments.”

When Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s age drama forced BCCI to implement age rules in IPL

In his maiden IPL season, Suryavanshi became the youngest player ever to score an IPL century, at just 14 years and 32 days old. His 35-ball hundred for Rajasthan Royals was also the second fastest in the history of the T20 tournament, only behind Chris Gayle’s 30-ball effort for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Following Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s dominance in the cash-rich tournament, strict action was imposed months after allegations surfaced against the IPL 2025 star, who was accused of age fraud.

According to the new age rule implemented at the age-group levels by the BCCI, the U-16 level will undergo another bone test the next season to determine eligibility if the 1-factor rule ruled him out the previous year.

"It is being done to have an exact age and make sure that no player loses due to arithmetical calculation rather than scientific calculation," a BCCI source said.

"This means that the bone age of a player has to be 16.4 or below in the following season in male cricketers and 14.9 or below in case of females for participation," the source added.

Moreover, another change that came after Vaibhav’s RR debut states that Under-19 (U-19) and Under-16 (U-16) players must play at least one First-Class (FC) match to qualify for the IPL. The rule will be implemented in the upcoming IPL 2026 to curb age fraud.
