Suryakumar Yadav-led India is gearing up to take on South Africa in the third T20I at the SuperSport Park in Centurion on Wednesday, November 13. Interestingly, both teams have faced each other four times on this ground, out of which India has emerged victorious in three games.

Stubbs Takes Proteas Home As Chakaravarthy's Attempt Goes In Vain

In the second T20I, Tristan Stubbs pulled South Africa to a thrilling 3-wicket win over India, taking the series to 1-1. After a horrific top-order collapse, Hardik Pandya (39*) tried rescuing India, but it all went in vain as India scored 124/8 at the end of the first innings.

Looking at a tiny target, South Africa started well through Reeza Hendricks and Ryan Rickelton, but Varun Chakaravarthy's spin pegged them back. Chakaravarthy's excellent five-wicket haul saw Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller return back in the most crucial phase of the match. However, a cameo from Gerald Coetzee (19 off 9) and Tristan Stubbs's (47 off 41) composed innings took the Proteas home with one ball to spare, which ensured the hosts' victory.

As the two teams prepare to meet one another, let us take a look at the weather predictions for the clash:
