Sri Lanka are all set to face Zimbabwe in a five-match white-ball series starting on August 29, 2025. The series includes two One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). All matches will be played at the Harare Sports Club.

This will be Sri Lanka’s first limited-overs tour to Zimbabwe since November 2008. After this series, the Sri Lankan team will head straight to the Asia Cup T20 in the United Arab Emirates, starting on September 9, 2025. Here’s everything you need to know before the matches kick off:

Who Are The Captains In Sri Lanka Tour Of Zimbabwe 2025?

For this tour, Charith Asalanka will lead Sri Lanka in both the ODI and T20I formats, a big responsibility as the team looks to build momentum ahead of the Asia Cup. On the other hand, Craig Ervine has been named as the captain for Zimbabwe in the ODI series, but the captain for their T20I side is yet to be announced.

What Is Full Schedule For Sri Lanka Tour Of Zimbabwe 2025?

The series will begin with the ODI matches. The first ODI will be played on Friday, 29th August 2025, followed by the second ODI on Sunday, 31st August 2025, both at the Harare Sports Club. After the ODIs, the teams will switch to the T20 format. 

The first T20I is scheduled for Wednesday, 3rd September 2025, while the second will take place on Saturday, 6th September 2025, and the final T20I will be held on Sunday, 7th September 2025, all at the same venue.
