Smriti Mandhana is in the form of her life and she continued the dream performance in the ongoing ODI series Vs Ireland. The elegant batter slammed 41 in the first ODI, and followed it up with a sparkling 73 to seal the series for India. However, on Wednesday, she went a notch up and slammed her 10th ODI century to assert India's dominance.
With her 10th ODI ton, she became the first Indian to get into the double-digits of ODI centuries, and this was also the fastest-ever century by an India Women's player (70 balls).
With the century, she surpassed English great, Nat Sciver Brunt as both the players had 9 hundreds each prior to this contest. Also, Mandhana now gets closer to the record of the most ODI centuries in Women's cricket. Australian legend, Meg Lanning has 15 tons to her name, while Mandhana needs 6 more to break the record.

On a flat track of the Saurashtra Cricket Stadium, Mandhana was at her imperial best as she came out with a mission to take on the Irish bowlers. The onslaught started right from ball one and Mandhana never looked back as she tore apart the visitors with her brilliant century.
Once she crossed the 50-run mark, the opening batter put her foot on the accelerator and it started raining sixes as she reached the landmark in record 70-balls.
