Sri Lanka Women will be up against Thailand Women in the 7th match of the Women's Asia Cup 2022, set to be played at Sylhet District Stadium on Tuesday, October 4. 

Thailand Women had a dismal start to their Asia Cup 2022 campaign as they suffered an embarrassing nine wickets defeat at the hands of Bangladesh Women in the tournament opener. They will be eager to stem the rot when they lock horns with Sri Lanka Women. 

Speaking of the Sri Lanka Women, they sparked a spectacular turnaround after the loss in the season opener against India Women. They beat UAE Women in the previous match by 11 runs and registered their maiden points on the leaderboard.

Given the experience in the shortest format, and owing to a strong batting unit, Sri Lanka Women will fancy their chances in this encounter. All in all, with both teams eyeing a win at the expense of one another, a thrilling game of Twenty20 awaits in Sylhet.
